This award recognizes the importance of effective oral presentation of economic analysis and policy implications in professional and public settings. It includes a $250 cash award given to the winner at the closing ceremony of NAAFE 2023 Woods Hole.

 

Presentations will be judged on the following criteria:

  • Quality of visual aids.
  • Presentation style.
  • Time management.
  • Content (in that study is well-motivated and results are well interpreted).

 

Eligibility

  1. All individuals who are currently enrolled in a graduate student program.
  2. The student must be the presenter of an accepted abstracted at NAAFE 2023 Woods Hole (but does not need to be the first author).
  3. Student must opt in* when submitting their abstract for consideration at NAAFE 2023 Woods Hole.

 

*Students can opt in for one or both of the student awards (Best Student Paper and Best Student Presentation), as long as they meet the eligibility requirements for each award.
