Submit your proposals for the NAAFE 2021 webinar series by 15 January 2021! We are hoping for broad, creative, and unique webinar ideas that allow for interaction and engagement in lieu of an in-person Forum.

Preference will be given to webinars that include early-career scientists/researchers and ones that provide interactions between the audience and speakers.

Two different types of webinars can be proposed:

  1. Webinars that focus on a topic/theme with panelists (these must include a Q&A session or some sort of interactive element).
  2. Professional development webinars - examples include research mentoring opportunities, DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion), student-researcher 'speed dating'.

Guidelines for Webinar Proposals:

  • Webinars should be approximately 1-2 hours long.
  • You must have access to a virtual hosting platform (NAAFE can offer limited technical assistance and help with hosting and advertising).
  • You must identify all presenters/panelists in your proposal, as well as their presentation titles (if applicable).
  • Please identify a preferred month and day for your webinar (mid-February – late May 2021).

Submit your proposals here (https://oregonstate.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_1ZXocLKSwN2VjyR). Be sure to fill out the form by 15 January 2021.

(NOTE: The proposal form will automatically save your responses if you would like to complete the survey at another time. Just be sure to access the link from the same browser.)
